Elizabeth Ruebush serves as Senior Director for Public Health Data Modernization & Informatics at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), where she oversees a broad range of program and policy activities related to data system and technology modernization, health information exchange, and public-private partnerships to advance state and territorial public health priorities. Prior to that role, she led ASTHO’s infectious disease outbreak response & recovery portfolio and served as the technical lead for COVID-19 case investigation and contact tracing. Ms. Ruebush has also managed ASTHO’s STI, HIV, and viral hepatitis portfolio, and supported project work related to immunizations, healthcare-associated infections, and pandemic influenza preparedness. Ms. Ruebush received a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Arts in biology and art history from Williams College.
