Larry Jessup serves as a Branch Chief in the Office of the National Coordinator, Office of Policy at HHS. Larry leads formation and execution of multiple cooperative agreement programs and interagency agreements related to health information technology and public health. He also leads collaboration with various federal and state partners and the development of engagement strategies and memorandums of understanding to maintain such efforts. His portfolio has also included topics such as COVID-19 response, addressing health inequities, state based Medicaid support (waivers, demonstrations, state plan amendments), TEFCA, engagement with the CMS Quality Improvement Organization Program, and former Project Officer for the ONC Regional Extension Center Program. Mr. Jessup received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Medicine from Guilford College and his Masters Health Administration (MHA) degree from the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health where he served as Vice President of the Student Association and is a recipient of the GW Young Alumni Award.
