Kallol Mahata is the co-founder and CEO of Patient Care Intervention Center (PCIC) and is a technology innovator focused on the needs of vulnerable communities. He has been working in the areas of health data and technology development for over 15 years. His focus has been on patient centered care, and the integration of Social Determinants of Health into care models. Kallol has designed and built enterprise level systems from the ground up, and developed one of the first Electronic Health Record systems for street medicine and homeless healthcare in the U.S. He has co-authored multiple publications and presented at numerous conferences.
Kallol received his Master’s in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Texas. His thesis addressed the development of agile Electronic Medical Record systems. He received the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Award for Outstanding Service and Impact and was recognized by the National Center for Complex Health and Social Needs as a trailblazer in complex care innovations.
