John Kansky, MBA, MSE, CPHIMS, is the President and CEO of the Indiana Health Information Exchange. During his 15 years at IHIE, John has held roles in Strategy, Planning, Product Management, and Business Development.

Mr. Kansky is a frequent speaker and writer on health information exchange (HIE) and national interoperability. He currently serves on the ONC’s HIT Advisory Committee and the boards of The Sequoia Project, Civitas Networks for Health, the Regenstrief Institute, and the Consortium for State and Regional Interoperability (CSRI). Mr. Kansky is a member of the eHealth Exchange Coordinating Committee and has served as the Vice Chair of the HIMSS North America board. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, a master’s degree in Bioengineering from the University of Washington, and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
