Chris has over 20 years of experience working in the healthcare IT sector. He currently serves as the director of national engagement and consumer health strategy for Velatura, the exclusive retailer of Michigan Health Information Network (MiHIN) products and services outside of Michigan. His work focuses on building client and partner relationships to support collaborative innovation opportunities that build shared clinical capabilities. Bailey is also a founder of Care Convene, a virtual health platform that extends the brick-and-mortar doctor’s office to enable greater patient access, engagement, and literacy with the goal of building stronger patient-provider relationships.
Previously, Chris served as the Regional Data Analytics Manager for Affinia Health Network’s Clinically Integrated Network, as Director of Informatics for Mercy Health Physician Partners, at Ascension Health as a Clinical Applications Manager and at Spectrum Health where he worked as a project manager and process improvement facilitator. Chris holds a BA in Eastern European Studies from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Michigan State University. He is a certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from American Society for Quality.
