Anupam is a board-certified general internist and clinical informaticist. After completing his internal medicine residency, he went on to acquire additional training in clinical epidemiology and outcomes research. He has held roles in academic medical centers as a health-services researcher and administrator. He was the co-Principal Investigator for the San Diego Beacon Collaborative, a multi-million federal program that funded a regional health information exchange that still exists today. He has served on the board of DirectTrust. At this conference, he is speaking as the owner of Health Care Remotely, a virtual chronic disease management company across nine states. Anupam’s professional interests include using technology to support scalable health care solutions, increasing value of the interventions provided to patients in America and maintaining patient confidentiality during online interactions with the health care system.
